About Reed Murphy

 

Reed Murphy is a screenwriter and playwright. He has worked both as an actor and backstage crew member in various productions with Fountain Square Players, The Phoenix Theatre of Kentucky, The Capitol Theatre, Arts Alive!, Xclaim Inc. Performance Academy, and Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY from 2003-2024. 

 

He produced, directed, and wrote a special staged reading performance of his feature film screenplay MAGICAL CANDY, which had its world premiere on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 in Bowling Green, KY. The performance was also a fundraiser event for the Xclaim Inc. Performance Academy. 


Reed Murphy is also the producer and host of the podcast series REED’S CONVERSATIONS: WRITING, FILMMAKING, THEATRE currently on YouTube.
